Project #2

I loved this creation from etsy seller Amanda 1986 so much that I decided to create my own. {Beginnings: Fabric Bouquet} 1.
I started out by hand sewing rosettes. I used a variety of fabrics: polyester ribbon, rayon, tissue taffeta & duponi silk. 2. My large flowers with embellishments were created by cutting fabric strips 3 inches wide & 30 - 44 inches long, depending on the thickness of the fabric. I added pearls, lace trim & beads. 3. I created smaller flowers using strips cut to 22 inches in length. 4. Next, I created adornments using a combination of satin ribbon, black tulle & glass pearl beads.
I ordered a bouquet cage holder from Save-On-Crafts.com. I will affix all my lovely creations to this with fabric glue. Hopefully it will come out looking something like the picture above.
