Our first dance as husband + wife was one of my favorite moments. Any time I went to a school dance or event, I always wished this song would play so we could dance to it. Of course that never happens...except when it's your wedding and you plan it that way.

I felt the tears welling all day. I managed to keep keep them from falling, but at the peak of the song, there they were - dripping down my cheek. We didn't take dancing lessons. I wanted a simple slow dance because for me, it was about our moment - not about showing off some elaborate dance move.
...and it's true. It was just Gary & I. Alone, in a moment.

man, your pictures are so adorable! Every bit of your wedding was so, SO pretty.
I was nervous about dancing in front of my wedding guests, but when the moment came it was really fun. Our guests were blowing bubbles all over us and they look awesome in pictures! We danced to the Rainbow Connection by Kermit. The song is so awkward, which definitely suits us.
Our last song of the evening is when I finally lost it. It was "The Flame" by Cheap Trick and our DJ had surprised us with our vows tied into the middle of the song. When I heard my husband over the speakers I just started bawling. Definitely one of my favorite moments of the night.
