It's difficult to turn off that wedding planning voice and I still follow wedding blogs and such for continued inspiration (on all things that I do). But how magical would this be - A Mary Poppins themed wedding?

Imagine... your bridesmaids - holding umbrellas, wearing cocktail hats adorned with bits of berries. The men wearing newsboy caps & red bow-ties. You could be married on a rooftop or in an old city park with street lights. The favors could be "A spoonful of sugar". Your guests could send you and your husband off by flying kites! I've heard releasing birds can be messy business, but you get the idea.
A good wedding theme isn't too gimmicky. The key is to take the inspiration, but apply it in a way that is subtle. Like, for instance you wouldn't march down the aisle singing Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious (or maybe you would) Haha.
