Halloween party inspiration

Alrighty. So there's a whole lot of inspiration out there right now. As I mentioned before, I'm going with a forensic theme. The color scheme will be antique paper, black & white. Lately I've been intrigued by early medicine & psychology illustrations. My friend forwarded me this awesome link to digital versions of vintage illustrations. I will definitely be using some of these as decorations. Another idea I had was to create my own Rorschach test prints on aged paper.

For the hor d'ourves table, I wanted to create a budget friendly tablecloth. I'm going to cover it in brown kraft paper (leftover from last year's gift wrapping) then layer it with a burlap runner (leftover from our wedding).
I'm a very bad blogger...no sources :(
I'm thinking of putting the bar in the kitchen nook this time to separate the guest traffic. To keep that area creepy, I'm thinking of creating a 2nd display, or sub-theme called The Dead Sea. Think old bottles, mixed with starfish & black coral set against vintage illustrations of sea life. Mix in some of the green glitter skulls I crafted last year. A little different than your traditional decor, but still cool I think.

It's going to be amazing! I love the Dead Sea idea. You are so creative. Can't wait to see how it all comes together.
