From runner to banner art

This $6 graphical mini runner from Target went from table to wall with a 5 minute DIY.

You will need...
Florist wire
Balsa wood strip
Cutting tool
Glue gun

Instructions
-Cut the balsa wood in two pieces using a cutting tool. I used a Jr. Hacksaw for a straight cut, but any will do.
-Wrap the florist wire along the edges of one of the wood strips. This will serve as the hanger for your banner.
-Working with one wood strip at a time, run a strip of hot glue and affix to the table runner.
-Let the glue set for a couple of minutes and hang on the wall.

I did a bit of rearranging on the gallery wall. I'm loving how the San Francisco plate & the banner art work with the Ikea alphabet print.

The banner looks great on the wall! I love the black, red and white type.

Looks really great - love the symmetry of it all on the gallery wall.

Oh! I am really amazed. I haven't noticed it in the first place, but when I scrolled it down. It was a city, constructed by letters. So nice!
