It's that time again for the house Halloween tour. The fireplace mantel got a spooktacular makeover with my crafted skull wreath & pumpkins. The spider web luminary is from Target (last year), pumpkin stands (candle holders spray painted black) are from Home Goods & the pennant banner is from an Etsy seller.
A few new items this year are the wall hung appetizer plates I found at Target and another crafted detail...
These spooky eyes in the fireplace were crafted using recycled toilet paper roles and glow sticks - A very simple concept that I adapted from this find on Pinterest. This totally reminds me of Disneyland. Speaking of which, I also stumbled across these awesome Killhouettes, sort of a dark interpretation of the classic Disney silhouettes on Main Street.
For the front entrance I hung the Ikea frame from our wedding photobooth on the door and added some branch garland that I found at Michaels. The skulls were a DIY from Martha Stewart. I placed LED candles inside the skulls to make them glow.
I'll be recapping our Halloween party sometime next week. Until then, I'm busy, busy!

Awesome Halloween decor! Mine consists of a few baby pumpkins and crab apples, haha.
