I went clothes shopping a few days ago. I've been so good about sticking to a budget, but sometimes I just miss the thrill of coming home with a shiny new item to add to my wardrobe. It doesn't matter if it's $5 bracelet or a new dress. There's just something about having something new to wear. It was also the first time shopping since I've acquired my recent bump. It was pretty depressing. I guess I'm in denial over how big I've gotten. I thought I could make a cute pair of mint polka dot skinny jeans work with a belly band. Yeah... not so much.
I settled for a more wearable purchase - this leopard tunic blouse and a fun jeweled necklace. It's roomy, comfortable and the print makes it feel chic. Plus I can totally wear this after the baby is born.
