Home office storage

While I was still pregnant and not able to sit comfortably at a desk, I used the opportunity to tidy up some areas around the house, namely my home office. I was craving some uniformity so I went all out with the grey & white theme to match my painted stripe curtains.

The magazine files were Target dollar bin finds and the white handled pull outs are from Ikea (kitchen storage). I consider myself a devoted Target shopper, but about every 4 months I have to make the trip to Walmart to buy shipping envelopes for my shop. I hate to sound like a snob but it seems like every time I walk into a Walmart, no matter which neighborhood, I see at least a few of the offending parties on People of Walmart. Anyway I happened to walk by the storage & organization section and scored 4 of these stylish cardboard cubes. They were the perfect size for my closet unit - 10.5 x 10.5 - and only $3 each. Sold.

I love it! Lots of stylish, yet chic touches. Gray and white is my favorite color combo. I just got my first full-time teaching job and when I found a grey and white chevron bulletin board border, I literally gasped out loud, I was so excited! :)

Hope everything is going well with the new baby girl! :)

I'm so jealous. I love beautiful things, but I do NOT, repeat do NOT have a knack for organizing. Love this;)
